Review: Left to Chance

Left to Chance
Left to Chance by Amy Sue Nathan

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Left to Chance is a sweet but not cloying story about going home again after running away from a tragedy. The novel’s strengths lie in its honesty – Teddi’s inner turmoil feels true – and the cast of memorable characters, all of whom are flawed and still struggling in their own way with the tragedy six years later. Though she struggles, Teddi learns about herself and about the people she once thought she knew. The timeline is a bit short for all of these developments but that’s really my only complaint.
